Hotel Guayanes 70

Good value and service for a short visit, around 1-3 days. The rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, and both the internet and TV worked perfectly. I did see a few small cockroaches, though. Bathroom water pressure was weak, the shower only got lukewarm, and the toilet clogged once. The hotel is open 24 hours, and staff can share city information and safety advice. It is conveniently near a metro station, Éxito, ATMs, food stalls, and bars. Check whether breakfast is actually offered, since some apps say it's included when it isn't. They also don't allow visitors who haven't paid for a stay.

I had a confirmed reservation, but they canceled it on their own five days before I was due to arrive, with no explanation. I couldn't get a response by phone, WhatsApp, or any other channel. Canceling at the last minute and offering no solution or compensation shows a complete lack of respect and professionalism.

I booked for 11 days, but on the fourth day they told me my room had been assigned to someone else. The service was terrible. Reception paid little attention, my belongings nearly went missing, and my family and I felt uncomfortable. They made promises they didn't keep. I had to ask three times to have the room cleaned, and got dirty looks for asking, especially from Fernanda. There were cockroaches everywhere, too. I would not recommend this place for a family trip.

We left before finishing our stay because the room was so uncomfortable. The musty smell was unbearable, and noise and light from the reception area made it impossible to rest. A window wouldn't close all the way, so we could hear the street and reception. There were far too many cockroaches, the beds were rock hard, and cleanliness was generally poor. Breakfast arrived an hour later than agreed, the TV didn't work, and the shower leaked all over the bathroom. The receptionist was friendly, but the hotel itself was terrible. The photos look much better than the real room. We were very disappointed.
