Hotel Lukas

Breakfast was included, and the women preparing and serving it were very nice and doing their best, but they were overwhelmed. Service was slow, and they didn’t always get to guests in the order they arrived. They needed more help. We were quoted one price, then asked to pay extra when part of our party left and we changed rooms as arranged in advance. The woman at the desk was rude to my wife when she asked about the added charges. We felt ripped off and never got a valid explanation for the extra money. That’s why I gave reception one star, especially since one receptionist was offensive and rude. The photos didn’t seem to match any of the four rooms we had. My wife and I were on the second floor, the noisiest spot, while the third and fourth floors were quieter. The hotel was loud through the day and night, with music, hallway conversations, and slamming doors. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and I barely slept over three nights.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, with nice facilities. It’s close to the metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and clubs. Just know it gets loud on weekends.

I loved Medellin Colombia. This is the best place to stay there, close to the train station, local pubs, and a grocery store.

Good price and location, with a clean room, nice staff, and a good breakfast. Ask for a room at the back if you want it quieter.
