Hotel Maidy Luxury

I had a friend over for an hour and they tried to charge me. It felt really weird and cheap, and rubbed me the wrong way.

This used to be a really good property, but now they’ve become money hungry.

Breakfast is à la carte, with a nice variety, and everything tastes delicious. I’ve stayed here twice for work. The rooms are small but comfortable and have everything I need. It’s a quiet place, and I’m there to work, not live in the room 😅 During my first stay, the sheets weren’t clean. I took a picture but felt embarrassed and didn’t say anything until the next day, since I’m not usually one to complain. I don’t know whether they change them after every stay. Once I mentioned it, they changed the sheets.

I couldn’t sleep a wink in five nights. The staff said I had the quietest room in the whole hotel, but that definitely wasn’t true. If you want a peaceful night’s sleep, this is a terrible option. You hear everything: street noise all day, cleaning staff making noise in rooms and laundry areas from very early in the morning, conversations echoing because everything is so close together, and people constantly coming up the stairs. The rooms are extremely small. Breakfast is incredibly slow with very little variety, and they don’t accept credit cards.
