It was okay.

The restaurant service was awful. They even expected us to clear our plates and move the tables ourselves. And when we got back that night, our room reeked of bleach so strongly it was hard to breathe. We had to put up with that smell all night. Sleep was already a problem. The cleaning staff made noise from 5:00 a.m., and there was loud music and noise from other rooms after midnight with no staff control at all. The rooms themselves had a strong musty smell, mold in the bathroom, broken toilets, and poor cleaning. Mattresses were old and the sheets worn, with none of the basic comfort a hotel should provide. I don’t recommend staying here, and I wouldn’t return.

It’s unbearably hot in the rooms because there’s no ventilation, and they’re unhygienic. You can hear street noise and everything happening in other rooms, with loud music and people shouting all night and nobody controlling it. You just can’t sleep here. It’s not a place for children, either. The price is way too high for such poor service. Better find another hotel.

We were left stranded after making a reservation for five people. We booked for January 24-26 and received a confirmation form after reserving on November 26. We asked whether anything else was needed and were told that was it. Then, two days before we were due to arrive, we contacted them and found out the booking had been canceled because we hadn’t paid a deposit. They had never told me anything about needing one. This hotel chain in Medellín, Belén branch, was completely unprofessional. Don’t book here or trust them!
