The person in charge even lent me tools when I had trouble with my vehicle during my stay, and the service was good. The hotel is very near the main shopping area. The rooms were fine, though cleanliness could be better. I had a pleasant stay overall.

Service from the staff was disastrous, and I really wouldn't recommend this place. Our first room hadn't been cleaned, so they moved us to a clean one. But when we later asked for it to be cleaned, they left dirty pillows in the room. The hotel was filthy.

It's a very small hotel with almost no space, and the pool is tiny, more like one for children. If you make a reservation, they won't refund a single penny, even when you've paid a 50% deposit. There are better, cheaper hotels nearby. Don't be fooled by the videos, the place doesn't look like that.

The service was awful, and I assume the owner is incredibly arrogant. We paid for the night and planned to stay through the weekend, but before noon they told us to leave because the room had already been rented. We'd written to them from Bogotá beforehand. Don't trust them, especially that unsympathetic man. One of the worst places you'll find in Melgar.
