The pool is amazing, the hike is great, the food was good, and the staff were good too. Thank you, Luis, Aura, Fabien. I booked private cabanas because I wanted to be somewhere peaceful, away from music and able to hear nature, which is rare in Colombia these days. I know they can’t stop guests talking and laughing late at night, but they could play calm music at the bar and ask people bringing their own music to their rooms to turn it off. I found the place on booking.com but booked directly because I wanted to save the small business the commission, which can make a difference. I should have read the reviews before reserving. If you book, don’t make my mistake: stay one night at most. I booked three and left after two. Even though I booked directly to save them commission, they didn’t return the favour. The last night was not refound. That’s the owner’s strict rule! They probably haven’t heard how much good customer service matters.

The hotel has a spectacular view over the Minca Valley, with Santa Marta and the sea in the background, even though getting there by moto is difficult. We had a wonderful stay at Lima Nevada. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and there was always a view across the valley. The food was delicious and the staff were really nice. They made a campfire at night and offer a free hike in the morning. I strongly recommend it.

After a day exploring the hills and waterfalls around Minca, this was exactly the place we needed. Lomo Nevada was spectacular, and we loved our stay. Thanks to everyone there.

Getting to this place is part of the adventure: you really need a 4x4, and I know how to drive one. Without it, you're relying on their food and drinks, which cost us about as much as three nights' stay and felt very expensive. The views and rooms are amazing, though, and the service was good. Some of the women on staff were really lovely, while a few came across a bit harsh. We had a blast hiking and taking a very adventurous motorcycle ride. They offer walks every day, and the magical surroundings made the difficult journey worthwhile. A mind-blowing experience.

We took a motorbike taxi to this lovely place near Minca. The whole hotel is beautifully laid out, with wonderful views of both the mountains and the coast from the rooms and other parts of the property. The pool is refreshing and natural, so it doesn't have that blue color. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly.
