Hotel Campestre Paraiso Cafetero

The rooms were clean, and there are several amenities. Parque del cafe is so close that you can walk there. They also have useful contacts and arrangements with local guides for rides to popular attractions. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

After a day at Parque del Cafe, just 1 km away, we unwound at the pool and jacuzzi in the evening. Jason at the bar told us more about Montenegro and the nearby area. We also had a Picada for 2, which was plenty for my wife, our 13th year old boy, and me. The room was spacious and very clean, with a fridge and standing fan. The bed was on the firm side, but good for my back. Wi-Fi was free throughout, and there’s a large free parking lot with a few covered spaces. Breakfast was included, very good, and authentic. The place was spotless, and the staff were attentive and always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to Carlos and the food court team. Great value overall.

Parque de Cafe was a highlight, and the property and pool are lovely. The staff seemed pleasant and happy to help where they could. Breakfast was good, but dinner was so heavily fried and greasy that eating it felt like it might endanger my health. We stayed two weekday nights. The rooms felt dated and needed an upgrade. Ours had no air conditioning, though I noticed some rooms did, and there was no Wi-Fi. The TV had about three channels. There was also a large hole in the screen. My Colombian girlfriend was embarrassed to mention it to the front desk and asked me not to say anything, so I went along with that. If I come back to the area, I’d probably stay somewhere else.

We didn’t have a car, so we used the hotel’s transportation service often. The company they work with was wonderful, friendly, polite, and helpful. We went from Armenia to Ukumari, and the driver showed us around the area. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Park del cafe. Breakfast was included, generous, and delicious. My toddler loved the kids’ pool and play area, and there were pool tables and a parques area too. A lovely place to relax on vacation, with incredible customer service. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help.
