We really enjoyed the pool. The staff were remarkably attentive, and the hotel was great. Definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed the Sochagota Ritual at the spa, one of several activities guests can choose from. The stay also came with a spectacular breakfast buffet, with local, continental, and American options, and the trout at dinner is well worth trying. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with incredible views of Paipa, the hotel grounds, and the lake. The natural thermal pool helped ease some minor back pain, and left me feeling relaxed but also energized. This amazing resort spa met and exceeded what I expected. Be sure to try the dishes served during dining hours, too.

The buffet breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. This may be the area's most traditional hotel by Lake Sochagota, with wonderful views and great rooms. There are a lot of stairs, though, which could make it difficult for people with disabilities.

The restaurant's desserts could be better, and they should take another look at their dessert supplier. The rest of the food is good, and the service is great. It's a nice place to stay, too, with a traditional feel and Boyacá's legendary hot springs.
