Hotel Villa Panorama

We were a large group of tourists, and the place didn’t match what was advertised online. The pools and wet areas looked completely different when we arrived. We’d called ahead to book a few spa packages and were told everything would be ready. The woman at reception struggled to keep track of the charges and took payment for the add-on services. Our hour-long massage was meant to start at 5:30 pm, but nobody was there. We waited until 6:00. When the massage therapists finally showed up, they seemed extremely upset. Then we waited another 15 minutes for them to set up, and the atmosphere still felt unfriendly. Since we were traveling with children and running out of time, we canceled. Getting a refund turned into a mess: three people had to work the card machine, and we stood at the counter for over an hour helping them do the math. They eventually processed the card, but only returned part of the money. We were disappointed, couldn’t reach or speak with management, and had to accept the loss and leave. The next day, we found out they had canceled the refund and kept our money for services we never received. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

We had an amazing time at this hotel, and the staff were so helpful. I’d love to come back soon.

My wife, our baby boy Dominick, and I spend the whole day here at least once a month, and we never tire of it. The covered thermal pool has three levels, with wonderful hot water streams dotted around it. Lunch at the casual poolside restaurant is surprisingly good and dirt cheap. The staff are always polite, helpful, and accommodating. For a budget hotel in Paipa, it’s one of the best. You get a peaceful but invigorating thermal pool experience, modern and comfortable facilities, great food, a fantastic mountain view, and the best service around. Look no further than Hotel Panorama, Paipa.

The hot springs are great, and the service is excellent. Just ask if you need anything. I’d also recommend the dessert place down the street.
