The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and the convenient location and secure parking made the stay even better. When we left, they offered us agua de panela, campesino cheese, and arepa, a typical treat from Boyacá that made the visit feel especially authentic and memorable. As a first-time visitor to Paipa, I felt genuinely welcomed. We arrived around 9 p.m., and Natalia made check-in quick, efficient, and professional. During our stay, both she and María Cristina gave us personal attention, helped with activity reservations, and shared accurate recommendations. The hotel is spotless and well maintained, with a spacious, beautifully decorated room and an extremely comfortable bed. We also appreciated the soft towels and quality bathroom products, a nice sign of the care taken with the details. From the moment we arrived, our experience at Hotel Samakwa was excellent. The facilities make you want to return. If you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, personal service, and a convenient location in Paipa, I’d recommend it 100%.

I found Samakwa Hotel while googling for accommodation in Colombia, but I didn’t know what to expect from its service until I arrived. The hotel is above five star, and the staff are caring and truly unique. My plans in Colombia kept changing, and they were always flexible, adjusting to accommodate me and look after my well-being. Thanks to Madam Christina and all the staff for their wonderful hospitality and caring hearts.

The people here were so welcoming that I felt right at home. My room was spacious and affordable, and the hotel felt well secured. Paipa is a good place to spend the night.
