Hotel Doral Plaza

Our room, 203, was damp and shouldn’t be offered to anyone. The bathroom window looked onto a public restroom in the hotel restaurant, so we could hear everything from inside. The hot water barely worked, and the doors were in poor condition and made an awful noise. They never gave us the two towels we needed, either. I can see why they require full payment before arrival, because I can’t imagine anyone agreeing to stay once they saw these conditions. The hotel needs maintenance. I really do not recommend it.

The service and hygiene were excellent, there was plenty of space, and food was available on site.

Our stay had several problems. There was no hot water, just freezing cold water, and the shower door had mold. The room we were shown when booking was nothing like the one we got: they said it would have a double bed, but it had twin beds instead. Noise from other guests carried through the thin walls. At night, reception didn’t answer; we called several times and the phone was always off the hook. There were two of us, but they only provided one towel.
