Birdsong was what I woke up to at this traditional villa up on the hill, well away from traffic, dust, and noise. The pool was pleasant, and the housekeepers were warm and friendly. Breakfast was simple, but they prepared and served it thoughtfully. There are hiking trails nearby. Getting around is the tricky part. It's practically impossible to book a taxi from the villa, though getting one to take you there is easier. The road is so bumpy that drivers wince whenever a rock hits the underside of the car. Bring some food too, since the restaurants are far away and overpriced.

The view was spectacular, and everyone was so caring and attentive. Breakfast was amazing, all fresh, and everything was clean, including the bathroom. Service was excellent. I stayed Aug 11-13 and wish I could've stayed longer. Loved it, and I'd go again.

It's great value for the money, and a welcome break from the city's noisy streets. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. One of the best places I've visited in Colombia.

The view made the effort worthwhile, and the staff were great. Keep in mind they only serve breakfast, so we walked a mile down the steep road to eat. The restaurant view was fantastic too, and it was popular with people coming up from the city on Sunday afternoon. Our taxi driver couldn't find the place. Google Maps helps, but it misses the final stretch of the very steep, single-lane road.

Don Ovidio and his wife took excellent care of us, and the view is one of a kind. It was the most relaxing, peaceful hotel I've ever stayed at. Before I booked, the administrator shared a Uber contact who picked us up at another location and drove us to the hotel. We also took a coffee tour, which was really interesting and informative. There's a kitchenette for cooking your own meals, plus a couple of nearby restaurants that deliver. The weather was nice while we were there, though it can get chilly sometimes.
