Hotel Spa La Colina

We stayed in the Guacamaya villa, and it felt like our own little nest high on the mountain. Jenny welcomed us with a huge smile and a can-do attitude, then showed us around the two-bedroom villa. The private pool, jacuzzi, and roaring outdoor fireplace made it tempting to spend most of our time outside. Indoors was charming and comfortable too, with cozy, vibrant decor and colorful Colombian touches. I liked the painting of the Guacamayas above the sofa, a nice detail for the room's name. Now I'm curious whether there are Tucans in the Tucan village. We liked the place so much that we ate in for our whole stay. The food was fresh and served promptly, with real care from a staff that worked well as a team. The villa was step-free throughout, with no wheelchair barriers, though the main restaurant has a few steps if you go out there. The flowers, view, and weather were just right, and when it got warm we turned on the mini split. It's a little gem that's tricky to find, but worth all the twists and turns. We were grateful for the service and relaxing getaway. Thanks La Colina!

The food was good and the portions generous. The property is beautiful, with lovely details throughout, including fountains, plants, and fruit. Many rooms have private pools and hot tubs, and all have air conditioning. The kind staff worked hard to fix the WiFi problems we had. It's not too far from the airport, and the shuttle there and back is free. I recommend this fantastic hotel near Pereira and will likely return.

We were sorry to leave after three days at La Colina. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we felt right at home. The food was great, too. Everything at the beautiful hotel seemed carefully made, with high quality and attention to detail, and the lush nature around it was breathtaking. Thanks again for everything.
