The poor check-in set the tone. The host couldn't type in English on WhatsApp and didn't try Google Translate, then insisted on payment before giving us the room entry code. After staying there, I understood why they wanted the money first. It felt like a scam, and I wouldn't recommend it. Rooms at street level get too much traffic noise, even at night. There's no vent, so showering turns the room into a sauna. Each time the indoor gas water heater ignites, smoke smells fill the living area. It was unbearable unless we ran the fan at full speed and opened the main door, which brought in swarms of mosquitoes. The kitchenette had no usable amenities, and we didn't use the washing machine.

A quiet neighborhood with several shops nearby. The place has the basics, a bed, TV, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom. I liked having a coffee maker and a serving of coffee in my room.

A clean, comfortable place in a good area. I’d recommend it if you need somewhere safe to sleep while you’re out during the day.

The neighborhood is residential and really quiet, though there aren’t many restaurants close by. The room itself is basic, but it matched the listing photos and description. Being near the airport and public transit also made getting around Pereira much easier.
