The beach and its surroundings are extremely rustic, though that’s typical of this coast in Colombia. We enjoyed the divine robalo with shrimp sauce and the Casuela de Mariscos. Service was a little slow, but it’s not the kind of place where you need to hurry. They even brought a complimentary appetizer without us asking.

I had a suite with A/C and a minibar, and both the service and food were great. The issue was the beach seating under the umbrellas. Hotel guests didn’t seem to get priority, and we felt undervalued when asked to hurry because someone who wasn’t staying there had reserved our spot. Barranquilla is incredibly humid, so shade at the beach really matters. The hotel should prioritize its own guests for those seats.

I only came for lunch with friends, not to stay. The place was beautiful and very clean, and the service was 👍 👍. I’m in love w/ Puerto Colombia 🇨🇴 and will definitely come back. 😍

A very nice spot for a day at the beach, with good food and great service. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t speak to the rooms. The location by the beach is nice.
