This felt more like a sad hostel than the resort it claims to be. The amenities were run down: the pool tiles and water had a film on them, the basketball court concrete was breaking apart, and the sauna couldn't be used and smelled of turpentine. The grill looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. There were no fans or AC in the rooms, and they smelled moldy. Dinner took over an hour just to cook rice. Everywhere else we stayed in Colombia had excellent hospitality, but this place didn't.

Don Diego and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. It’s a great spot if you want to be near nature while still close to the city. Don Alturo was a humble, wonderful person who kept us informed the whole time. I didn't get to use the Turkish sauna because there wasn't enough time.

The staff were nice, but I only stayed one night after missing a flight, hoping to be near the airport. It was over a 35-minute drive away. My room was damp and cold, and the Wi-Fi didn't work there. Uber drivers had trouble finding the place because there was no road name, and reception had no English speakers. I'd only stay here as a last resort.
