Hotel Bicentenario Rionegro

The only decent thing for my family and me was being near the park, where we spent most of our time. The hotel is nowhere near the airport, despite what I expected. Check-in took around an hour, the room was extremely small, and there was just one power outlet in it. Service was terrible. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Please don't stay here.

Reception were accommodating, and the room was okay for the price. But we've stayed in much better hotels for less. The breakfast kitchen staff were awful, with no sense of courtesy or customer service. They should hire people with real hospitality experience instead of just anyone to do the job.

The rooms are good, and the bathrooms are roomy and clean. There's a large lobby where you can sit comfortably while waiting for a taxi or just spend some time. We picked it mainly for its proximity to the airport, but still had a pleasant stay. Definitely recommend it.

I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are tiny, there's street noise until 1 am, and breakfast was average. Service amounted to showing me the room and saying breakfast ran from 6:30 to 7:30. For two people, I was given one towel and one face towel, and when I asked for more, they said it was one per room. The shower had no shower head. They even asked me to check out an hour early while I was in the lobby trying to find somewhere else for my second night. I booked because the price looked good, but the hotel was 22 miles from the airport and couldn't accommodate me for the second of my two nights. I only stayed the first night because it was 9 pm and I didn't want to look for another place until the next day. No one from the hotel or booking.com told me before I flew in from the USA that I wouldn't be able to stay the second night. I understand plans can change, but surely they could have let me know during the week beforehand. I paid 89.00 after the taxi to this hotel, then a taxi and another hotel for the second night. If they had honored my reservation, I would have spent 45.us dollars total for two nights, including the taxi from the airport. There was no value in this stay.
