The mornings, with chickens waking me up and the two big dogs greeting me when I arrived, made this stay feel special and far from home in the best way. Coffee Tree Hostel is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Just sitting there, listening to nature and taking in the view, was an experience by itself. The staff were kind and welcoming, and everything felt comfortable and well cared for. Breakfast was simple but really good. It's not a very social hostel, but if you want calm, beauty, and nature, it's perfect. I truly loved it.

The location worked perfectly, with a short walk to the main centre and backpacker-friendly food spots right beside it, while still being far enough away to switch off. Norvan organized fun events that helped us connect with other backpackers, and the staff were super helpful. We had a very comfortable bed, plenty of room for our bags, and a bathroom with a good-sized shower. Would strongly recommend!

We usually don't sleep in hostels, but this one felt like a hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a hammock, and a nice view. Breakfast was very good, and there was free cold water, hot water, and coffee all day. The staff were friendly and always around to help with questions. Highly recommend!

Christian and Nicolas were especially warm when they welcomed us, and the two Saint Bernard made the place feel friendly too. I had a very nice stay at the Coffee Tree Boutique Hostel. The location is quiet, away from the noise, with a pretty garden and lovely view, yet only a 5-minute walk to the centre. My room was clean and nicely decorated, with a private bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was good, and having free coffee all day was a nice touch. A very good option in Salento.

The two St Bernard’s lounging around the hostel might be the most welcoming hosts, though they mostly ignore you unless you have treats lol. The people staying there were friendly and respectful, and the nightly activities made it easy to meet everyone. It’s not a party hostel, so I slept well, and there are plenty of places to party in town. Coffee Tree was clean and really well kept. I saw workers sweeping and mopping regularly, and the shared bathrooms had no hair or mold. Breakfast was free, tasty, and a nice touch; the restaurant also served good meals at reasonable prices. Nicholas and Chris were so helpful with anything I needed, from tours to local recommendations. When I told reception the shower head was faulty, Eddie the handyman had fixed it by the time I got back to my room later that day. Highly recommend staying here.
