We’d had an amazing time at their sister hostel in Palomino, so we booked another Dreamer hostel, but this one left us disappointed. The nature around the hostel is beautiful, with hummingbirds in the bushes, and the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere. That’s about the only positive I can offer. The bathroom was damp with mold growing, and the shower head made showers uncomfortable and painful. Water came out of only three nozzles, with very high pressure. We also found plastic in our veggie burger at dinner, which was disgusting. The staff generally weren’t friendly, although the breakfast staff were super nice. At the end of the trip we needed transport to Salento to catch our bus. Staff told us the only option was to wait for a Jeep and hope one had room. That seemed odd because we’d booked a Jeep the day before to get to Cocora Valley. We followed their advice and waited, but no empty Jeeps showed up. When we asked again, the same staff member said they could actually book one for us. They did, but we missed our bus because of the earlier advice.

Dreamer was a great stay. It’s in a beautiful spot outside town, on the way to Cocora. Our private room was spacious, clean, and had all the utilities we needed. Breakfast was great in both quality and quantity, and good value. You can take the willies into town cheaply, though they can fill up during busy hours. Reception can arrange private transport, and Uber works too.

A wonderful little gem in the middle of Cocora Valley. It’s well placed for short trips to Salento, coffee fincas, and the Valley. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is good quality, and the calm, relaxing setting among nature is perfect for a quiet break. LOVED IT

Dreamer Cocora has a beautiful feel to it, surrounded by nature, with great facilities that made me comfortable and at home. Everything was clean and well maintained, just right for relaxing after exploring the valley. I had an amazing stay. Camila deserves a special mention. She was so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, and made my experience even better. Thanks for the warm hospitality! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cocora Valley.

We went in Oct 2025, when this new place had been open for nearly a year. It’s beautiful and nicely decorated, with a pool table and an outdoor bonfire. The beds are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant has a happy hour cocktail menu, which is nice. It’s about 15 minutes by Willy Jeep from Selento town.
