We chose Gran Azul to get away from the center of Salento, and the quiet was just what we wanted. Our chalet was roomy and cozy, surrounded by nature. The unpaved walk into town took about 15 minutes, which didn’t bother us. The staff were warm, kind, and always willing to help. They arranged our airport transfers, and could also give information or assistance with optional tours and activities. Breakfast was good and filling. We’d happily stay here again if we return to Salento.

The owner made this stay especially memorable. He was kind, welcoming, and very accommodating, and it was clear he cared about his guests. Rock, the cutest dog, added to the experience too. We stopped in Salento on our way from Bogotá to Cartagena, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The location made it easy to explore town on foot, close to everything. This place felt warm, personal, and authentic. I can't believe I waited so long to write about this hidden gem. If you're passing through Salento, don't miss it.

The owners and staff were so helpful that we managed to see and do much more in the area than we'd expected. Breakfast was freshly made each morning and set us up for the day. The accommodation is beautiful, with amazing views, and it's just a short walk from the Main Street's shops, bars, and restaurants. A chilled-out, fantastic find in Salento. Highly recommended!

Marga and Ignasi made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, and were always around when we needed help. They really go out of their way to make the stay memorable. Gran Azul Ecoresort is charming, spotless, and comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the calm atmosphere made it easy to unwind after days out exploring. We loved the breakfast, with fresh local ingredients. If you're visiting Salento, stay here. Definitely a 10/10 for us!

We loved the peaceful, cozy atmosphere at Gran Azul Ecoresort, just outside the city noise and surrounded by greenery. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the center. The mountain view was beautiful, and the rooms were very nice. Cristina was extremely helpful and available with advice about activities and sights. We also enjoyed the homemade breakfast, with fresh fruit, juices, and local flavors.
