The breakfast was the best I've had so far, and the breakfast area is a lovely place to meet other travelers. The coffee is delicious too. Rooms are clean and cute, and there's a spectacular terrace. The hostel is well located in Salento. What made the stay feel special was the family service: kind, gentle, and always available. Thank you so much.

It's about five blocks from the town square, and the place is very clean. We came across this hostel by chance and were glad we did. It's small, run by a lovely retired couple, and the service was great. It is a bit pricey, though Salento is a tourist town. During fiestas, noise could be an issue, but that would probably be true anywhere in town.

I stayed at Elizabetha Hostal for about five days while recovering from food poisoning after checking out of a party hostel. I needed somewhere quiet and comfortable, and this place was just that. The rooms, beds, and facilities were clean, comfortable, and very new. Elizabeth made me chicken soup each morning when I was too sick to eat anything else. She checked in every day to see how I was doing and encouraged me to take a walk once I felt strong enough. She even called her son-in-law, a doctor, to come examine me and prescribe antibiotics, without charging me. I'm so grateful for Elizabeth's hospitality.

Elizabeth is so welcoming and friendly. The terrace was a favorite of mine, and the place is clean and comfortable. It's a family-run hostal, so booking here supports a family business.
