The host was a great guy, full of amazing stories about Colombia in the 80s and 90s. We liked the setup too: three rooms with a few beds in each, good for sleeping and meeting other backpackers. Step outside and there are beautiful mountain views and a quiet, cute neighborhood. It’s just a few meters from the main Salento square by the church, and a good budget stay. The rooms don’t have much ventilation, which gets uncomfortable when more than two backpackers are sharing and, well, things get smelly.
