The plantation walk was a highlight, and we got to pick some coffee beans ourselves. Ricardo and Nicolás made the tour fun and engaging, and learning how to taste coffee properly was really interesting. The natural setting was incredible and made the two-hour drive from Medellín feel worthwhile. We wished we could have stayed overnight. It was so peaceful and calming there. ☕️☕️

El Diamonte feels more like a private estate you’ve been invited to than a hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, peaceful, and set among gorgeous mountain views. The welcome from the staff at Finca La Manchuria and El Diamonte made us feel like family, and everyone seemed proud to share the place and its history. Nicholas, our guide, made the coffee tour unforgettable. He was patient, energetic, and knew the whole process inside out. You could tell he loves his work. The hospitality, setting, stories, and comfort all came together for one of our most memorable experiences in Colombia. We’re already planning to return.

I’ve visited La Manchuria a few times now, and it’s always felt warm and authentic. The rooms are lovely, the views are breathtaking, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Friends and family who’ve come along felt the same way. Definitely worth visiting.

The hotel is a former hacienda on a coffee farm, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We had great service and tasty food, and coffee is free throughout your stay, so you can drink it all day if you like. A wonderful place.
