After starting out in the city center, which was really noisy, I moved to Angula Place. The property is so peaceful, with beautiful landscaping all around and a fantastic pool. Mr Hassan was very helpful and kind. It’s just a 10 minute bus ride from downtown.

A big plus here is the pool and garden. Being off the main road also means you’re away from polluted traffic, and the local bus stop is nearby. In a few minutes you can reach the main tourist beach and downtown. The staff were very friendly and ready to help, thanks so much! The place is beautiful, but the facilities are very basic, which seems common for this kind of lodging in San Andrés. Check carefully whether your room has a fully equipped kitchen if you need one. The air conditioning is old and so noisy it’s hard to stay in the room while it’s running. There’s no hot water. Loud music from somewhere outside the property could be heard all night.

The manager was kind, and the pool stays open until 6 pm, though I didn't really need it since I was at the beach. Getting downtown takes about 30 minutes. Buses come roughly every 15 minutes and cost around 2,600 COP, while a taxi is 20,000 COP. My room's air conditioner was very noisy, and the shower was poor, with barely any water running.
