The family running this posada were wonderful, and the room was clean and really nice. Breakfast was good too, with their traditional fruit that they use in almost everything they cook. I loved being among the locals, away from the bars and central parts of the city. It's a very native place, which made the experience phenomenal. I'd recommend it if you want something different. Buses come by every 20 - 30 mins and reach many parts of the island, so you don't need to rent a scooter. They're full of local people, and that's part of the experience.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and from the moment we arrived at Derma’s inn, they treated us like family. They helped us figure out where to go and arranged everything we needed, including rides around the island, to Johnny Cay, and to the airport. It was one of the best stays I've ever had. We'll definitely return to San Andres, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

I liked the quiet setting, with nature all around, and they provided a mini fridge. There’s a TV and Wi-Fi too, though I didn’t use either. Bringing other people to the room after midnight is easy. Getting around is the downside. It’s far from all the points of interest in San Andres, so if you’re into partying, expect to pay 10.000 cop each way. Taxis usually cost at least twice as much after midnight. I stayed four days, and they cleaned the room only once. It got pretty messy.

The owners, a raizal family, looked after me so warmly that they felt like family during my stay. The room was comfortable, and there’s a lovely viewpoint where you can eat local food while listening to traditional Caribbean music. A wonderful place.

I loved staying at Derma's Inn. The rooms are comfortable, and the lodge has a great view over the Caribbean. The hosts were so welcoming, and they know a lot about the local Raizal culture.
