House of the Sun feels like a true local experience in San Andres. It’s in Las Lomas, easy to reach by bus, and near the beach.

The hotel has a large complex with several pools, and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly, the rooms very clean, and the service was good. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach, though there’s a regular shuttle bus.

Martha is lovely and the best host, I recommend her 100%. The place was peaceful, beautiful, very clean, and exactly like the photos. Breakfast was included and very tasty, and they helped with everything so we could enjoy our days on the island.
