A few minutes’ walk gets you to the beach, airport, or marina, so the location is handy. The staff are very friendly and ready to help with whatever you need around the island. A great place to stay in San Andres.

The hotel is clean, the hosts are polite, and breakfast comes with the stay, though it’s pretty basic. Being right in central San Andrés is convenient, and the neighborhood feels safe. Noise is the downside: people play music late, sometimes until around 2 a.m., and chickens can wake you around 6.

The owner and staff were the standout. After I was injured in a scuba diving accident and had to spend the night in the hospital, the owner of La Posada de Lulu quickly sent my wife over with a blanket and pillow for me. She also let us extend our stay one night at a time until we could get a flight home. The rooms and shared spaces were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty and filling. A wonderful place to stay.

Right in the center and close to the airport, which was handy. Someone was available to help nearly all the time, and the service was OK. The rooms could use a much better clean.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the hostal staff gave great attention. But the location wasn’t good for us, and it was so noisy at night that getting proper rest was hard.
