It was quiet and really pleasant, with a wonderful location beside the fanciest hotel around and close to the beaches and center. A few things need work: breakfast could be more substantial, and the curtains should block the light better. Cleaning needs improvement too. We had to ask for fresh towels, and had to request toilet paper when it ran out. The shower water was cold, but bearable.

Awful location, with nothing nearby, and the service wasn’t good. The reception was always empty, so we had to call the owner at her house behind the inn. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. The bathroom was terrible, with no shower, just a pipe that gave very little water, and it was cold. Breakfast was bad too, just scrambled eggs with crackers. I don’t recommend it. Later I stayed at a simple hotel in the center, but everything was close and we walked to the airport. I recommend staying in central San Andrés.

The ocean view is superb if you want to sit and look at the horizon. There’s no beach, just a pier where lots of visitors come, and the place feels unsafe, with doors and windows. A restaurant is next door and the hotel recommends it, but it seemed to serve only people from the Tohor family, as if it weren’t really open to others. I arrived at D1 and bought snacks there. It’s the cheapest place.

It’s quiet by the ocean and away from the center, but you can catch a boat from the inn for the main tours. For me, the best beach was Rocky Cay, exactly 1.4 km away, about a 15-minute walk or a 2-minute drive. Elizab, the manager, and the rest of the staff were diligent and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty simple, though it’s free. A special place.
