The host and staff made us feel at home and helped arrange fun things to do. Siloe Cove is a peaceful base, a little outside the city but only about 15 minutes away by scooter. There are lovely beaches and dive spots nearby, so it suited us perfectly for a quieter taste of island life. I'd definitely recommend it.

The people here made the biggest impression on me. Titis greeted us with so much warmth, Patricia has a huge heart for every guest, and my friend Eduardo was always cheerful. Leaving this paradise genuinely makes me sad, and I hope to see you all again. The facilities are incredible, like a beach house rather than a five-star hotel, and the setting in the heart of San Andrés Island is wonderfully peaceful. It was exactly the place to disconnect from hectic life, with staff always smiling and happy to suggest the best tourism option on the island. Thanks for everything.

The dorm beds were pretty good, and there's a nice bar nearby with a Rasta vibe and a little ocean-facing porch. To find it, turn right on the main road and walk about 1-1.5 kilometers, or take the bus that goes that way for two minutes. The hostel itself didn't live up to the pictures, though. Staff were nice but not very helpful, and things felt disorganized. It's a long way from the center, with hardly any restaurants nearby.

The host was really nice and the atmosphere was great. This easily makes my trip's top 10 hostels. I'd absolutely recommend it, especially after a couple days in the center when you're ready to come here and relax.
