The staff were friendly, and that’s what the two stars are for. But the sheets, blankets, and pillows smelled like someone else’s sweat, and the old fans were extremely loud. Management requires you to hand over your room key, so if you have valuables, you have to take them with you everywhere. There were other issues too, but the dirty-smelling bed linens alone ruined any expectation I had.

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel was disappointing. It feels stuck in the past, and the rooms have an odd smell. My third-floor room was very hot, and the fan they gave me didn’t work properly. The pillows smelled of sweat, as did one of the blankets. There were also power surges when I turned on the shower.

In the center of San Gil, this is one of the city’s traditional hotels, with a colonial style and a pleasant atmosphere that make it a good place to relax and enjoy the city. The service is very good, it’s clean, and the rooms have what you need for a comfortable stay.

I had a very pleasant short vacation here. The rooms were comfortable, with closets and private bathrooms, and some had balconies. The televisions felt poorly placed and could use replacing. They’re old, and it would be nice to watch Netflix or Max sometimes.
