There are entry and exit restrictions, which were a drawback. The woman handling customer service was very helpful, though. Rooms are small but comfortable, with a private bathroom, TV, and fan. Since the place is right on the main road, you’ll hear some noise.

Ms. Rosario was attentive to everything I asked about and suggested tourist sites in the region. Her help made it a good use of my time.

Each room has its own private bathroom, which is a big plus. It’s comfortable and very affordable, though a little way from the center. It’s about a 15-minute walk, or 4 minutes by taxi. There’s an arrangement with a parking lot around the corner for 5,000 pesos per night.

For the price, I’d look elsewhere. The front looks pretty run-down, and people tie their trash to the gates. It gives more of a boarding house impression than a good first impression.

It has WiFi and TV, and the simple, family-style atmosphere feels like home. Good price, and a decent choice if all you need is somewhere to spend the night.
