The decorations for the occasion I asked about were even better than I expected. You could really see the care behind them. David and his companion were also so warm and attentive, always making us feel at home. The homemade food was delicious too. We've been to Cabañas El Viejo Tampo twice now, and somehow love it more each visit. It always makes us want to come back.

Tomás's care and dedication showed in all the little details, and the food was delicious. It really is a magical, fairy-tale kind of place, and the whole stay felt special. Bring warm clothes, though, because it gets quite cold. My partner is very tall and had to bend down to manage in the bathroom, which could use a few improvements in its layout and other details.

The cabins are roomy and comfortable, and the jacuzzi worked perfectly. The common areas are great for celebrating something special, with options to arrange decorations, cheese boards, wine, and more. Meals are varied and nicely presented, and the people are so friendly they make your stay memorable. It's also near a chapel, if that's useful for Catholics. A beautiful, comfortable place, highly recommended.

The food was the most delicious I've ever had, and the service was great. Nights get cold, but they give you plenty of blankets. It's around half a kilometer from the main road, an easy walk.

It's a really pretty place, the food is good, and pets are welcome without any fuss. The shared areas are nice and well equipped, too. The cabins, though, are very basic and rustic, and the hot water kept fluctuating. Finding the right setting was hard, and keeping it there was harder. A lot of guests already treat it like a motel-style stay, and nobody seems to stop people bringing speakers or blasting music. So if you want complete peace and quiet, this won't suit you. If noise doesn't bother you, it's still a cool place.
