Mateo, Ligia and Hector are such lovely people, and they made my stay memorable. Ligia makes the best arepas I've ever had! The dogs are sweet and well behaved, the pool is really big, and the kitchen has everything you could need. I loved staying here, it feels like a home away from home ❤️ See you next time :)
The pool was empty because of damage, which was a shame. It can be tricky to find: the Google Maps pin is wrong, and the address is Cra. 12#14-156, just around the corner. Look for the white iron sliding gate into the property. For 5000pesos, breakfast is simple and good, and cold drinking water is free. Mateo is a very friendly guy and offers to take you to a waterfall, a river bathing spot, or the famous puente de occidente for free. The place is quiet, and everyone was helpful.
The hosts were really welcoming, the beds were comfortable, and the pool was a nice way to cool off. They also gave good suggestions for trips. I'd love to come back.
It's clean, has a pool and great Wi-Fi, and sits in a quieter part of town.
My wife and I had a pleasant stay while we were in town for the Gladiators off-road race. It's affordable, centrally located, and has a family feel, with staff who were very helpful. We hope to return. Just to be clear, it's a hostel, not a hotel, and it isn't suitable for non-smokers.
