I felt completely at ease and safe here, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Ramon took great care of my family and me in the restaurant. Camilo went above and beyond with his customer service, helping with any issues and sharing a few nice recommendations for the area. He was definitely my favorite. I can't wait to come back! ☺️

I gave it one star because zero isn't an option. The photos here are misleading, taken from the resort across the street. The hotel has a lot of problems: the toilet wouldn't flush, there were ants on the bed, the water was cold, and breakfast was very limited. The rooms have no soundproofing at all. I could hear people whispering in the street, and the hotel is on one of the busiest streets in S.Marta. The staff showed zero flexibility. Please don't stay there.

The staff made my stay. Everyone was so kind, and traveling by myself, I felt safe the whole time. I spent four days here and found the hotel lovely and well located. I’d recommend it!

Breakfast comes with the stay, and the location in Santa Marta is central. Blu is affiliated with Tamaca, so Blu itself doesn’t have amenities. The pool and beach at Tamaca hotel are just a block away and available to use.

You can use the parent hotel’s pool and beachfront, which is the main draw at Hotel Tamaca Norte. If that access continues, it’s a good value and only steps from beach bars and restaurants. There’s also a beachfront bakery where cheese buns come out hot several times a day for 40 cents.
