Erica was especially helpful, and all the staff were really friendly. We loved how the place encourages a digital detox, even though the rooms are simple. They’re clean and spacious, and the food has been the best we’ve had in Colombia so far. The setting is stunning, with nature and picturesque views all around, plus easy access to Tayrona national park.

The rooms are pretty basic and the hotel is small, so I wouldn’t stay more than a night or two, especially if you like nightlife and trying different restaurants. The food was good, just not especially memorable. Still, it’s a beautiful place to stay when visiting Tayrona National Park, only five minutes away. It sits where the river meets the ocean, and the sunsets are incredible. If you’re lucky, you might spot caimans too.

The wildlife here was even more abundant than in Tayrona, with loads of birds and other animals, including Caymans. Set almost in the "rain forrest" but right beside the sea, it’s a memorable place to stay while visiting Tayrona National Park. The food is very good too. Be sure to book the suite "Selva".

Dinner was very good every time, while breakfast was just okay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place itself was very nice. We stayed in basement room 4, where the upstairs sewage pipe was clearly audible. Aside from that, the room was good.

The staff were among the kindest people we met on our trip, and the food was great with service available all day. Our cabin looked out over the sea for sunrise, and we could spot 🐊 in the river in the morning. The grounds are lush and well kept 🌴, right where the river meets the sea. A bus to Santa Marta or Palomino can be flagged down from the mainroad!
