The pool was a favourite, and we spent hours cooling off there. We really didn’t want to leave. Our family room was clean and spacious, with a double bed, a twin, and a pull-out twin trundle, just right for two adults and two children. It was a peaceful stay and great value. The hotel is a short walk or taxi ride from the centre, which suited us, and there’s an Ara grocery store a few blocks away. Staff were so helpful and friendly. We could leave our luggage while we went to Tayrona Natl Park. Breakfast was generous, with each person choosing from yogurt and granola, eggs with toast, or crepes, all served with fruit and juice, plus coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. There’s an on-site restaurant, a self-service bar with soda, beer, and snacks, and a kitchen and fridge guests can use. Lots of shared spaces, hammocks, lovely decorations, laundry service, and turtles to find. Cheers to the staff for making it feel like a home away from home. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Marta.

The pool area is heavenly, and everything was very clean and well kept. The hotel’s design and amenities went well beyond what I expected, and the staff were smiley and helpful. There are lots of room types to choose from, all with air conditioning, a real plus in the tropical climate. Great location too, for a short or long stay. Definitely recommend.

We spent four nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Camali hotel is charming, with clean, spacious rooms and an amazing pool. The room rate includes a simple breakfast that was fresh and tasty, and you can order snacks and drinks by the pool during the day. We arrived late in the evening after a horrible experience at another place where we decided not to stay. The staff were very helpful, showed us the rooms first, and got check-in done quickly. Highly recommend!

A lovely hotel with helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a fan and aircon. Nice pool and really tasty food. I’ll definitely come back when I travel to Santa Marta. Thanks, Camli hotel.

The pool and all the shared areas in the hotel were beautiful, and we’d definitely return. The owner, who is French, was so helpful and did everything he could to make our stay great. He even helped us find a driver to take us and our many, many bags to the next city. Thanks again for all your kindness! Our room was cozy and the a/c worked very well. There was no warm water in the shower, but in that heat it didn’t bother us. We could borrow a hair dryer from reception whenever we needed one.
