The facilities were clean, and Damar was very helpful. I’d assumed the private rooms had AC, but my ensuite private room didn’t, and I wish the listing made that clear. Damar agreed to move us to a 4 person dorm with AC, which I really appreciated. There’s no sign outside, so look for the yellow house at the correct address and check the Google maps pictures. We don’t speak Spanish, but Google translate helped.

This review is about the hostel’s apartment. It’s clean, and the host is great. You can walk to the waterfront and to a lively area with restaurants and bars. It’s family friendly, with two toilets and two showers, and 2/3 of the rooms have AC.

A clean hostel that’s great for a one-night stay. The bathrooms aren’t in the best shape. Staff don’t speak English, but they try to find a way to communicate.

Dirty, noisy, run down, and not safe. Expensive too. Can’t recommend it :(
