Estelar Santamar Hotel

We stayed for a week. The hotel is older, but the beds and pillows are reasonably comfortable, both 8/10, and there's a small elevator. The staff are really nice, 9/10, and breakfast is good, also 9/10. It's free for adults, though kids are charged 20,000 peso each per day. The beach is warm and nice, though the water isn't blue. There are shaded spots and security around, but some vendors can be very aggressive. At night there's beach entertainment, which I'd rate 8/10. You can get hotel taxis, and there's Wi-Fi. The hotel advertises a shuttle through Expedia, but it costs extra, it isn't free. There are several pools, free water in only two areas, and a small older gym I'd give 5/10. Rooms have AC and hot showers. I didn't try the mixed drinks. Food and drink prices are pretty fair.

Everything was fantastic, and Wilson was especially helpful. He was incredibly good at his job and so kind, he deserves a raise.

The staff have been so kind and helpful. I recommend coming to the beach bar for a couple of cocktails and some food.

Yusney is such a caring, kind employee. This is a nice, friendly place and a good spot to visit with family. I recommend it.
