Hostal North Bay

There’s plenty of room to spend time with other guests, with games, a pool, hammocks, and a terrace for hanging wet clothes. The dorms are comfortable, and even the shared bathrooms are very clean. The hostel is in great condition and the service is good. For this location, the nightly price is very affordable.

The receptionist, Silvia, was lovely and helpful with everything we needed, right through to the last minute. The shared kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and the rooms have curtains around the beds. There’s also a great pool area, big showers, and a terrace for relaxing. The hostel is an easy base near the center of Santa Marta, with a great atmosphere. It’s inexpensive, especially compared with other hostels offering smaller rooms for the same price. Breakfast would be a nice extra, but it’s a small thing.

The layout works really well, and the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms have what guests need. It’s welcoming, spotless, and the service is excellent. Prices are very affordable too. I loved staying here.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and I felt safe in the area. It’s close to Santa Marta’s historic center, and the seasonal price was reasonable. Great service and support, highly recommend.
