Hotel Campestre Sol Caribe

It's a beautiful place, but service was terrible. We booked two rooms and arrived at 5 PM, two hours after the 3 PM check-in time, yet one room still hadn't been cleaned. They also couldn't find our reservation and made me show them the whole WhatsApp conversation where I'd booked. The other room had no key because the previous guest had taken it, and the hotel had no spare copies, so we had to leave it unlocked whenever we went out. Reception and management need replacing or training. They were incredibly rude as well as providing poor service.

The service from Ever, Direth, and the rest of the staff was excellent. We loved Hotel Sol Caribe in Santa Marta: it's a beautiful, very clean place with a comfortable room, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. Breakfast was a delicious traditional meal, Wi-Fi was free, and the location was great. The hotel is in an old house that once belonged to wealthy people from Santander. They're renovating it to make it even more beautiful and comfortable for guests. We highly recommend it.

There isn't restaurant service at the moment, but you can order delivery and there are restaurants nearby. The place is clean, pleasant, and well organized, with a jacuzzi. Staff are friendly, caring, and respectful of the animals. Prices are reasonable at $45,000 COP per person. Highly recommended!

With its spectacular nature-filled views and wonderful service, this is a great place to spend an incredible few days at the beach. The location makes it easy to visit several beaches, and the hotel feels complete. I'd gladly return, it feels like home. 🐬
