Hotel Caribe Rodadero

The hotel is in a good location, and the place is clean. I liked the room, but the food had no variety. They say you can pick two menu options when you arrive, but the cook just serves whatever is available, so there isn't really a choice. We were there five days, and I never saw the pool cleaned, which I didn't like.

I stayed here with my family group and recommend the hotel. The room was very nice, the food was excellent, and they always gave us two menu options for both breakfast and dinner. The staff are qualified, from the restaurant ladies to the reception team.

The food is very good, though they don't serve lunch, and the pool closes much earlier than advertised. The service is excellent and the staff are very good, apart from an impatient cleaning lady who kept asking why we were taking so long at 11:45, even though check-out is at 12 and check-in is at 3. I liked the place, but the pool is small and rooms only fit up to three people.

We came with our football team for a tournament in Santa Marta, and the stay was terrible. They packed too many people into the rooms, the food options were very limited, and things we asked for were unavailable or not authorized. Sometimes the food was raw. The waiters were unfriendly and didn't even offer coffee. The food and service were awful, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
