The host managed to fit all 17 of us in at the last minute after a problem with another booking. Rooms had a mix of single and bunk beds, which worked well for families. The appeal is the hotel's small, quaint feel. It's also conveniently placed, about 1.5 blocks from a quiet beach with a few vendors, nothing like North Rodadero or Cartagena. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby, around 1 to 3 blocks away.

We came with my family intending to stay one night, but liked it so much we wanted to add another week. The rooms were spacious, the air conditioning worked, and the TVs had plenty of channels. We loved the pool, and there was water at reception, which matters in Santa Marta where water is scarce, even at the best hotels. Staff were attentive and very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Shops and restaurants are nearby, including the iconic El Vomito. The beach is a block away in a quieter, less crowded part of Rodadero. Very cozy and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

The pool was a real plus, with good shade in the afternoon and warm water, perfect for cooling off after the beach. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the location was good. Señor Anuar and his wife were very kind, and Juan Pablo and Sofía were excellent hosts. It's a good fit for families with small children, and there's a place right next door with very good food. When I was stung by a jellyfish at the beach, the hotel gave me timely medical assistance.
