Giovani was attentive and quick to respond whenever we had a question or request, and even let us decorate for my wife’s birthday. The property was well equipped for our large family, with amenities that were all well maintained. Our stay at La Casa Grande de Santa Marta went beyond what we expected, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Santa Marta.

I stayed here for a month, and it was a beautiful place. The owner was great, and the maid assigned to me was kind, respectful, and lovely. She cooked three meals a day and cleaned the whole house. It’s close to the beach and local spots.

The house is well equipped, with A/C in every room and a bathroom with a shower in each one. It’s near a mall with great restaurants, close to a pharmacy, and eight minutes from the beach. There’s also a major highway nearby for getting to Santa Marta or elsewhere. A few things to keep in mind for a large group: street music is common along the Colombian coast, and this neighborhood will likely be loud at night, especially on weekends. The house has a good stereo system if you want to play your own music. I also wouldn’t recommend walking around the surrounding area. Renting a car is best, and the road isn’t fully asphalted. Giovanni was an exceptional host. He gave me recommendations weeks before I arrived. I was with a group of 16 foreign tourists, and everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you, Giovani!
