Great view from a spacious room, and the location is very good.

The rooms are very basic. I booked through air bnb, and on the day I arrived there was a parade, with a perfect view of it from my room. Noise doesn’t usually bother me, but this area felt unnecessarily loud. Party buses passed by, shops blasted music for no reason, and it went on until around 1am. If it had been a club or bar, I wouldn’t have minded.

We had a great view of Santa Marta, and the hosts were very kind. There are two large, usable kitchens if you want to cook, plus helpful staff who spent an hour explaining things to do in northern Colombia. They also held our luggage, helped us get tickets to continue our trip, gave us great food suggestions, and dealt with any issues right away. Our room didn’t have air-conditioning, but the balcony and the coolness of the whole complex meant we didn’t need it. The price was very affordable too. It’s an excellent place to stay, and I hope to return for another night soon. Thank you.

Worst check-in ever. The woman at the desk showed no empathy at all. They couldn't find my Expedia payment and wouldn't let me in, even though I was tired and sweaty.
