The prices are good and the beach is great. The area is pretty quiet and peaceful, though there aren’t many stores or markets nearby for groceries or other things. I only stayed one night, so didn’t have much time to enjoy the place. I’d give the location 3 out of 5 because of concerns about the sea’s health in that area. That’s up to the city to address, though, and without that issue I’d rate it 4.

The restaurant has a good beach location, and I did take a quick look at the rooms, which seemed basic. I didn’t stay in them. Some staff were great, but the administrator, “Jose,” treated us badly and seemed intent on overcharging us. The service was bad, and a few people can ruin an otherwise well-located place. I won’t go back while he’s there, but I might give it another chance when he’s absent.

The beach is peaceful and lovely, and the vibe is even better than the really good service. It’s my favourite spot for spending a day by the beach. You can book with them to check availability if you want to stay for the day and use the restaurant. Whenever I’m in Santa Marta, this is where I go.

The food and location are wonderful, easily worth 10 stars. We’ve been here for breakfast twice, but the service has let us down both times. Our waitress, Yanit, seemed impatient. When we asked a simple question, all she said was “read the menu,” which felt unwelcoming. With friendlier service, this place would be perfect.

We stayed four nights and had a great time. The beach here is on a quieter stretch, and getting to the airport was easy. There were lots of taxi and bus options for going to the city or back to the airport. The food was great and really affordable, and the staff were very friendly, especially at the restaurant. I’d definitely stay again.
