The view was astonishing, though the room felt too small for four people. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety, and the service personnel made the experience amazing. I absolutely recommend Tamaca hotel.

We felt welcome thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond to help us. The restaurant on site served really good food, and the hotel is close to lots of attractions. Great service all around. We'd definitely return next time we're in Santa Marta.

The rooms have amazing beach views, and the location is great, but the pool situation really soured our stay. We booked in March after seeing pool photos on the reservation page, and the hotel's Instagram kept sharing pool pictures and videos in the months afterward. When we arrived, we were told the pool was closed and that the Instagram posts were for July. We hadn't been told about the closure either before or after booking, so we ended up paying a day fee to use a nearby hotel's pool. The food was very average, too. If the pool had been open, I would have had a much more positive experience. If you're considering a stay, contact them first to ask when it will be back up and running.
