Viña Del Mar

For such a low price, I was amazed by how nice the place was. My room was clean, and the staff were delightful, patient, and helpful even when we struggled to communicate. The balcony and rooftop views were breathtaking. They serve breakfast, dinner, and drinks on a rooftop with a really lovely atmosphere. The food and drinks tasted good, and being able to hang out up there late at night was a great experience. There was a club or bar downstairs playing very loud music until the middle of the night. It didn't keep me from sleeping, but I can see it being a problem for someone who has trouble falling asleep. Even with that, I was delighted with the hostel and thought the conditions were outstanding for the price. I highly recommend it!

Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent and kept crashing, and the very loud music and shouting until 5 a.m. made it hard to sleep. That was why I didn't give it five stars. Security should ask guests to keep the noise down after 11 p.m., and the Wi-Fi needs fixing. If those things were sorted, this could be the best place to stay in Taganga. The hostel itself is very nice and well located, close to everything. Staff are great, the rooms are big, have AC, and offer great views of the main boardwalk and the sea.

Really bad. Go somewhere else.

The people are great, the prices are good, and the location is perfect. The lodging isn't fancy, but it's clean and secure. On two separate occasions they kept our bags for free, and nothing went missing.
