The common areas are a highlight for me, especially the pool and seating areas. The owners are very nice and keep an eye on things. If something in your room isn't working for you, they're happy to move you. Anderson at the front desk is also a really nice guy and always willing to help. The location is why this place was recommended to us. It's safe compared with other places in Tolú, away from the noise but close enough to go for a beer. The rooms are basic and could be better. They're small, even though they're meant for three or four guests, and I don't like that they charge per person instead of per room. With four people, you may as well get another room. Still, everything else is fine for such a small beach town.

This place doesn't offer full services. I'm not sure whether free Wi-Fi was available, but I do know there was no laundry service, which we tourists really appreciate having. That part could be better.

Martha and her partner made us feel safe and looked after, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. If you’re staying around Tolu, Villa Real Tolu or Villa Real Tolu Premium is where I’d choose to be. I wouldn’t consider another hotel in the area.

Anderson was a great host. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the pool was lovely. A very nice hotel.
