I really liked Tunja, and the hotel was ideally placed for exploring it. The restored old building has a lot of charm, and the staff were lovely. They were also happy to store my bicycle securely. I couldn't fault the stay, and felt it was good value for what you get. Highly recommended.

The colonial decor and lovely atmosphere make this a nice B&B, and it's in a great spot, about 5 min walking distance from the Bolivar square. The staff are welcoming and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious, though warming the plates would help keep the food warm. One tip: make sure the hotel keeper stamps and SIGNS your parking ticket. If it's unsigned, you could end up paying for some of the parking listed as "free" by the hostel on booking . com.

It's a colonial house just a few blocks from Plaza de Bolivar. A nice place, though the mattress was hard and the water was warm rather than hot.
