The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the showers are great after hours on the road. Hotel Ruta 40 is especially good for cyclists. The cycling theme comes through everywhere, with two lovely classic bikes on display, and having a bike shop right downstairs is super handy for riders. You can feel how much they care about cycling.

Great value, with good breakfasts and really nice service. My Queen double room was bright, airy, very clean, and had high ceilings and a balcony. There was also a place to park my motorcycle. A really great place to stay.

The room was beautiful and cozy, and the staff were so nice. They kept checking that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Loved it, highly recommend!

The rooms are good, and the location, homey feel, and friendly owner and staff give the place a lot going for it. Still, it felt a little odd, was noisy, and the bike rental was expensive. Maybe that's just Colombia, I guess. With a few changes, I think it could be a great hotel/hostel. Breakfast was the weak point. It was bad, and I'm sorry to say that. Instead of just one egg, it could include vegetables like tomato or avocado, fruit without gelatine, fresh bread rather than stale sandwiches, and things to spread on it, like good cheese, fresh jam, sausage, salami, or salted butter. It would also be nice to have some variety from day to day, with different juices, fresh pancakes, bacon, or an omelette. These ideas don't have to be expensive or take much work. A few internet searches could help with inspiration.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we would have stayed longer! The room was lovely and clean, the shower was hot, and breakfast was so good. We had secure parking for our motorcycles too. The area is quiet but still really close to the main square. The owner is great, just get in touch via WhatsApp.
